TOPIC: How to create an Install DVD using Linux

Introduction
This HOWTO is to guide the creation of a Yellow Dog Linux Install DVD using either x86 or PowerPC Linux.


Burning an Install DVD
After downloading your image into your Linux box, do this:

1. Next type:

   growisofs -dry-run -Z /dev/cdrom=sample.iso

   ... in order to perform a test run. Remove the -dry-run flag to do it for real. the 'Z is equivalent to the "dev=" flag in cdrecord, telling growisofs where to find the device and ISO.
